Printing Test Answer Sheets
Once you have created a test answer sheet, it is saved as a PDF file. The first page is the answer key and then the students' blank answer sheets follow. There is one test for each student in the selected class. You may also print blank answer sheets.
To print tests
From the My Classes screen click the desired class.
From the test list, click the desired test.
From the Options on the left, click Answer Sheets. Ensure that the students for whom you want to print the tests are selected before clicking the answer sheets option (unless you are printing a generic test answer sheet).
Note: You can also print the answer key and bubble in the correct answers. Scan the key with the student tests to quickly enter an answer key. If using a generic test, bubble in all zeroes (0) for the student ID on the answer key.
The Answer Sheets window appears, where if desired, you can enter the number of Extra Blank Answer Sheets to print. Please note the warning about turning off any scaling or fit options in your PDF viewer. If you are printing a generic, single page test answer sheet, you can print just one copy for photocopying, if desired. Otherwise, you should print one test answer sheet for each student in the class (the application defaults to the appropriate number of answer sheets). If you are using a generic, multi-page form you should also print one test answer sheet per student so that each answer sheet is unique.
When you are ready to print the tests, click Download.
A PDF appears of the tests. Use your default PDF reader's print options to print the tests. Ensure that you do use any 'fit' or 'scaling' settings. You simply want to print the forms in their actual size.
Note: There are known issues with printing in Firefox that are beyond our control. We recommend printing tests from Internet Explorer or Chrome.
Once the test answer sheets are printed, distribute them to the students to take their test. Note each student's name on the top of the test so that students receive the right test answer sheet (unless you are printing a generic form where the students bubble-in their ID numbers). Once the test is administered, you are ready to scan the filled in tests.
