Security - Accounts

An Account represents the entity that maintains the ownership of and financial responsibility for access the Remark platform, back-end services and data.  If the Client provides a Remark Web client Application, the Account represents the Client’s customer that uses that application.

The following permissions apply to Accounts.

Action: ADD

Resource Type: ACCOUNT

Level: CLIENT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can add accounts to the client that owns their account.

 

Action: DELETE

Resource Type: ACCOUNT

Level: CLIENT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can delete accounts owned by the client that owns their account.

 

Action: LIST

Resource Type: ACCOUNT

Level: ACCOUNT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can list information about their own account.

 

Action: LIST

Resource Type: ACCOUNT

Level: CLIENT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can list information about accounts owned by the client that owns their account.

 

Action: UPDATE

Resource Type: ACCOUNT

Level: ACCOUNT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can update information about their own account.

 

Action: UPDATE

Resource Type: ACCOUNT

Level: CLIENT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can update information about accounts owned by the same client that owns their account.
