Groups in the Remark system are used to define a collection of Users who are permitted to perform similar functions. The system provides an initial set of Groups for each Account. In addition, new custom Groups can be defined. The application enforces permissions at the Group level, so that a User who belongs to a Group with permission to perform a function is thereby granted permission to perform the function through their membership in the Group.
