Security - Terms

A Term defines a defined period of time during which Classes are conducted. Terms typically represent a school year and/or marking period within the year.  Only one Term can be considered the current Term at any one time. Terms are associated with Accounts and may only be manipulated by Users with sufficient privileges.

The following permissions apply to Terms.

 

Action: ADD

Resource Type: TERM

Level: ACCOUNT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can add terms to their account.

 

Action: ADD

Resource Type: TERM

Level: CLIENT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can add terms to any account associated with the client that owns their account.

 

Action: DELETE

Resource Type: TERM

Level: ACCOUNT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can delete terms owned by their account.

 

Action: DELETE

Resource Type: TERM

Level: CLIENT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can delete terms owned by any account associated with the client that owns their account.

 

Action: LIST

Resource Type: TERM

Level: ACCOUNT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can list information about terms owned by their account.

 

Action: LIST

Resource Type: TERM

Level: CLIENT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can list information about terms owned by any account associated with the client that owns their account.

 

Action: UPDATE

Resource Type: TERM

Level: ACCOUNT

Explanation:

Users with this permission can update information about terms owned by their account.

Explanation:
