Creating Quick Tests

Quick tests allow you to create simple answer sheets with multiple choice questions and subjective areas for write-in style questions. You can specify the number of questions and the answer choices.

To create test answer sheets

  1. From the My Classes screen click the desired class.

  2. From the left Options menu, click Quick Test.

  3. Enter a Test Name.

  4. Enter the number of Multiple Choice Questions (objective questions such as multiple choice, true/false) on the test. You can have a maximum number of 360 questions per test (all question types combined).

  1. Choose the Answer Choices (e.g., A-D, A-E, 1-5, etc.).

  2. If desired, enter the number of Subjective Questions on the test. Subjective questions are used to allow the teacher to enter the number of points earned on a non-multiple choice questions (e.g., an essay). If you need customized subjective questions, use Advanced Test.

  3. If using subjective questions, enter the Max Subjective Points for any given question. This setting tells the application how many bubbles to put on the form. For example, if the questions are worth 10 points, you have a two row grid labeled 0-9. If the questions are worth five points, you have six bubbles labeled 0-5. You must use the same number of points for all questions on the test.

  4. If desired, mark the checkbox for Show student ID region. This option places a student ID bubble grid on the form instead of having the students' names printed on the test answer sheet. Using a student ID region allows you to distribute the test answer sheets to any students in the class, which may be helpful for larger classes.

  5. Click the Save button.

A PDF file is generated containing a blank answer key and all of your student tests for the students listed in the class. You may now print the tests.
