Reviewing Flagged Images
When Remark Test Grading Cloud Edition cannot recognize a processed image, the image goes into a Review Flagged Images queue. The application uses the barcode printed on the answer sheets to match processed forms to students. Unrecognized images typically occur from things such as a badly skewed or offset form, forms that have many stray marks on them, forms that have been damaged or attempting to process a test answer sheet that does not match the test you have chosen in the application. After forms are processed, any unrecognized images appear in the Menu area of the left side of the main window, labeled as Flagged Images. If a test answer sheet is processed that is a duplicate AND you have the Preference turned on to review duplicate test answer sheets, it also goes in the Review Images queue. When a problem is encountered, Remark Test Grading Cloud Edition attempts to provide insight as to what might have happened (e.g., telling you the image is a duplicate).
To review images
Note: If the image is a duplicate, determine whether you want to Reprocess image (overwriting the existing test data and image) or Discard image (keeping the original test data and image). Or you may choose Review image later if you are unsure what you want to do at that particular moment in time.
Note: If the entire batch of images is incorrect and you want to delete them, simply click the Discard All option in the left menu.
To add students to the system
If you process a test for a student that is not yet in the system, and you have permissions set to add students, you can add students as you are reviewing flagged images.
Click the option for Reprocess image.
Next to Identify Image, click the orange icon with the plus symbol.
Note: You must have appropriate permissions to add students to the system.
Choose the desired Test.
You may now run reports or export your data/grades.
